Fergie, How Far Have You Fallen?

I know that I probably should be, but I am not ashamed to say that I used to fancy the (then) Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, back in the 80s, when she married Prince Andrew. I always thought that she looked good in contrast to the doe eyed, demure, head down Princess Di in those early years.  This would put her at the head of a very short list of sexy gingas, including Ginger Spice and Jessica Rabbit.

I also thought that she was treated shamefully by the British Royal Family, with the exception of her former husband, who, it would seem, has always stood by her………until now perhaps.

Now, she was pretty well cast aside by the monarchy following her divorce, but must have made a bit of money over the years with all of her TV appearances, Budgie the Helicopter children’s books, public speaking, and work for Wedgwood and Avon, etc. (Ah, the Avon Lady…….). But, how low must she have sunk to be selling access to her ex-hubby for $500,000 – read about it here. And worse, having been caught in the act, to choose Oprah as the medium for a “supposed” apology. Shame on you.

Now I wish that the Avon Lady thing hadn’t popped into my head.
