Where’s the Anarchy?

I know we are some five years behind the times, but Sons of Anarchy Season Two was, unfortunately, not quite the classic box set collection we had hoped for. It lacked the intelligence and breadth of a West Wing; the Shakespearean drama and intrigue of the Wire or even Deadwood; and, the other-worldliness and sheer scale of the sex and sandals epic, Game of Thrones.

Instead, we found ourselves embroiled in moral dilemmas such as the relative merits of gun running versus porn, murder versus gang rape, and ultra-white racism versus Irish Republican terrorism. It was a true enigma wrapped up in denim and diesel-infused sweaty biker leathers, with corrupt FBI Agents to boot.image

Most of the acting in the series was performed by Charlie Hunnam’s chin, and Ope’s hat. There were, as ever, some classic female roles…..not. And, the portrayal of your stereotypical Irishman was lacking only in a jig performed by a Leprechaun…..

Role on series three. Perhaps there will be a pot of gold at the end of that rainbow.

What do the “Sons of Anarchy” do in order to make decisions? They get a chairman to call a meeting and hold a vote. Erm….guessing “Sons of Democracy” just wouldn’t sound so cool x
