Oh my goodness, I don’t intend to be rude, but frozen mash and quail eggs in fish pies makes me happy to be an American who lives on Indian food; my husband is Brahmin Hindu.

I do, however, enjoy hot tea at all the appropriate times of the day–and I love my biscuits!!

Hiya. Thanks for your comment on my post. Glad I missed the Delia fiasco. Really, frozen mashed potato? That’s insane. I do have cornichons in my fridge though, and some walnuts. Have to confess I have never done quail’s eggs mind you.
She is bonkers, absolutely bonkers and a bit sinister in my humble opinion…

Thanks for your comment on my blog posting on the same subject. I don’t think she’s lost it – she’s probably just got herself a new business manager.

He told her it was all about mass market, supermarket deals, branding etc – showed her what Jamie was making on his shaker gizmo and tempted her with a slice of it all.

It’s all down to cash and tie ins. But it’s badly done. Really badly – and you’re right – eggs, olives and chips? Whaaat?
