It's a fine piece of writing which paints the north of England in a positive light. It looks like you've found a gap in the travel writing market which badly needs filling - "Raging Bullring: In search of the Midlands" or "The Good, the Bad and the Brummie: A spaghetti junction western" - you could have a potential bestseller on your hands!
